Marilyn Hellums (1934-2024):
On November 27, Marilyn Hellums passed away.  A native Texan, she earned a BA in English, Magna Cum Laude, from UT Austin in 1955.  She was married for fifty-nine years to the late David Hellums, who was a member of the Rice faculty (chemical engineering) from 1960 until his retirement in 1998 including serving as engineering dean from 1970 to 1976.
