Ann '75 and John Doerr '73:
On Friday, The Chronicle of Philanthropy published its annual list of the ten largest charitable gifts announced by individuals or their foundations. Number two on the list were Ann ’75 and John Doerr ’73 with a $1.1 billion donation to Stanford to begin a school aimed at tackling climate and sustainability challenges.
