It was announced this week that Stan Woosley was one of three scientists who are sharing the 2026 Gruber Cosmology Prize, which "honors a leading cosmologist, astronomer, astrophysicist or scientific philosopher for theoretical, analytical, conceptual or observational discoveries leading to fundamental advances in our understanding of the universe".
