Sarah Piper is a grad transfer from Duke (Biomedical Engineering) on the Rice soccer team.  Her brother Philip played soccer at Yale and her sister Grace played soccer at Texas A&M.  Both were team captains.  (Thanks, Chris Kohnhorst and Mike Ross!)

TE James Casey was a minor league pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization and for the independent Fort Worth Alley Cats before he retired from baseball to pursue his football career, starting at Rice.  Lennie Waite, an Olympic Track and Field athlete after her college days, originally played soccer at Rice before switching to distance running events.
