Frank Fisher, Jr (1931-2026):
On June 23, Frank Fisher Jr passed away.  In 1961, he joined the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Rice where he taught for many years and was named Professor Emeritus in 2002.  He was preceded in death by, among others, his wife Pat.

Robert Ladner (144-2026):
On June 12, Bob Ladner passed away.  A native Houstonian, he earned a BA in Chemistry from Rice (Baker College) in 1966 and a PhD in theoretical chemistry from Caltech in 1972.  He enjoyed a career at Genex and Dyax.  Also, he was active in the community and in his church.  He is survived by, among others, his wife of almost fifty-four years, Jane.  Click here for the obituary.
