Betty Ligon (1929-2024):
On December 9, Betty Ligon passed away. A native Texan, she attended Rice (class of 1951) where she met her future husband Richard Ligon ’48. They were married seventy years when he passed away in 2018. Together, they raised three children. Also, her favorite hobby was playing bridge and she was very active in the community and at the church. Click here for the Chronicle obituary.

Mary Nall (1936-2024):
On October 28, Mary Nall passed away. A native Houstonian, she earned a BA in Education and History from Rice in 1958. With her late husband Arthur, they raised three children. Also, she was active in the community. When her children were older, she began a retail career with Foley’s. In 1993, she moved to Wimberley and she enjoyed traveling.
