Marjorie Johnson (1928-2026):
On September 23, Majorie Johnson passed away. A native Houstonian, she earned a BA in English and Fine Arts from Rice in 1949. Together with her late husband Raleigh ’49, they raised five children. Also, she was very active in the community especially in the field of mental health and in her church. She is predeceased by, among others, Raleigh (they were married for seventy-four years when he passed away in December 2022). Click here for the Chronicle obituary.
