Jane Sanders (1938-2021):
On December 18, 2021, Jane Sanders passed away.  A native Houstonian, she graduated from Rice in 1960.  In addition to raising three children with her former husband Larry, she became a national award-winning elementary teacher.  Also, she loved adventures, fabric of all kinds and feasts with friends and family and she was a voracious reader.  Click here for the Chronicle obituary.

Marty Belasco (1950-2021):
On December 5, Marty Belasco passed away "after a hard battle with cancer".  A native Pennsylvanian, he earned a BA from Rice in 1972 and a master's degree in accounting from UH.  At Rice, he was the Sports Editor of the Rice Thresher and one of his stories, in the April 13, 1972 edition, was entitled "Rice grabs three to clobber Horns".
