Donald Clayton:
On January 3, retired Rice astrophysicist Donald Clayton passed away. In 1963, he was a founding faculty member of Rice’s Department of Space Science. His wife Nancy (whom he met at Sammy’s), her father William McBride and their son Donald Clayton all graduated from Rice – ’79, ’43 and ’83, respectively. Click here for the obituary.
