Condoleezza Rice, who earned a master’s degree from Notre Dame in 1975, was the first female African-American to serve as US Secretary of State. Yesterday, she was on campus to speak at a Baker Institute event. And, this weekend, the Owls open the 2024 baseball season with a weekend series against the Fighting Irish. OJ Brigance ’92 is the only football player in history to win a Grey Cup (Stallions, 1995) and a Super Bowl (Ravens, 2001) with teams based out of the same city (Baltimore).
