As reported, Sam Davis Jr '52/'53, who was a professor at Rice for fifty years (1957-2008), passed away on December 25. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 25 at noon at the Anderson Clarke Center.

Save the date of May 5, 2023 for an opening reception for multi-media artist Michael Petry ’81 for his exhibition “In League With Devils” at The Dadian Gallery, The Henry Luce III Center for the Arts & Religion, Wesley Theological Seminar, Washington, DC. Michael, who is the older brother of Grammy Award winner Germaine Franco ‘84/’87, earned a BA in Mathematics and Art from Rice in 1981.
