In its preseason Top 25 poll released last month, top ranked by Collegiate Baseball were LSU (#1), Florida (#2), Stanford (#3), Texas A&M (#4) and Tennessee (#5). This season, Rice is scheduled to play a total of 8 games against Stanford (#3), Texas A&M (#4), TCU (#15) and Texas Tech (#17).

2023 Shriners College Classic, March 3-5:
The game schedule of the 2023 Shriners College Classic has changed. The new schedule for Rice is vs. Texas Tech at 11 am on Friday, vs. Texas A&M at 7 pm on Saturday and vs. TCU at 3 pm on Sunday.

This summer, Jacob Hahn ’25, a sophomore majoring in Sports Analytics and Computer Sciences, will be joining the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod Baseball League as a member of its Baseball Operations Team.
