Yesterday, the Giants recalled Ford Proctor from AAA Sacramento and last night he made his major league debut at Arizona, playing second base and batting eighth.

Hispanic Heritage Month:
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Astros organized a MVP Conversation for leaders of the Houston Latino community yesterday.  The dinner event was hosted by Enrique Cruz, with special guests Astros Hall of Famer Jose Cruz and Rice Baseball coach Jose Cruz Jr, speaking on baseball, family and service.
