Alex Quoyeser, the son of Joe Quoyeser ’84, is part of a group of five former Brown University football players who own twenty-five percent of Hot Rod Charlie. Yesterday, the horse placed third in the $1 million Whitney Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course.

Last month at Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo NM, Brad Lardon ’88 won the Sun Country Senior PGA Championship for the fifth time in six years. With the win, he qualified for the Senior PGA Professional Championship at Twin Warriors and Santa Ann Golf Clubs in Santa Ana Pueblo NM October 13-16. Last year, he was inducted into the Rice Athletics Hall of Fame.
