Ope Amosu has been named a 2026 James Beard Award finalist in the category Best Chef Texas. His restaurant ChopNBlok started as a pop-up before becoming a vendor at Post Houston food hall in 2021 and now has a standalone brick-and-mortar location at 507 Westheimer in Montrose since October 2024.
