Trivia Question:
First, Horst Paul also correctly answered Tuesday's trivia question!

Second, I received the following from Bill Martin on Tuesday:  “Tobin Rote and his cousin Kyle both attended my parents’ wedding, though they may not have known what was going on. My mother was teaching school at Harlandale High in San Antonio in the 1950s and, like many single schoolteachers at the time—1935—found lodging in private homes, in this case the home either of Tobin’s parents or of Kyle’s. Her sister, an aunt of mine, lived in the home of the other Rotes. I’m not completely certain as to who lived in which home, but they both knew each sets of parents, and when my mom and my dad married, it was in one of the Rote homes. I remember Mom's talking about Kyle and Tobin as little boys, about seven, peeking through the banisters of the stairs during the wedding ceremony. My aunt kept in touch with Kyle through his college years at SMU and got me an autographed picture that hung on my bedroom wall. I saw him play in both high school and college. I had never met either Kyle nor Tobin until one Sunday morning in a hotel coffee shop in Dallas, I saw Kyle and his wife nearby—he would be part of the announcing team for the NFL Cowboys game that afternoon—and waited until they were nearly through with breakfast before walking over to introduce myself. Instead of waving me off or looking pained at possibly being asked for an autograph, he stood up, stuck out his hand and said, “Hi, I’m Kyle Rote.” He was surprised when I told him he had attended my parents’ wedding, but he clearly remembered my aunt, “Miss Helen,” and he and his wife invited me to stay with them the next time I was in New York. I didn’t consider that for a moment and suspect they would have been less than excited if I had, but I remember it as a gracious gesture by my first boyhood idol.”
