Adam Peakes ’95 has joined Hornblower Group as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will report to chief executive officer Kevin Rabbitt ’95. They were basketball teammates at Rice.

Henry deForest Ralph Jr (1933-2022):
On January 25, Henry deForest Ralph Jr passed away. Born in Washington DC, he earned a BA in 1955 and a BS in 1956 in Chemical Engineering from Rice. He worked for a number of oil and gas companies, the longest with Coastal States, and he formed his own consulting business in the mid-1980s. Also, he was involved in the community and in his church.
