JT Chargois (0-0, 1.93) pitched a scoreless inning on 6 pitches (4 strikes) for a hold for the Mariners, Tyler Duffey (0-2, 4.03) pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout on 14 pitches (11 strikes) for a hold for the Twins and Lucas Luetge (2-0, 3.03) was charged with a blown save for the Yankees.  Jordan Stephens (0-0, 5.06) allowed 1 unearned run in an inning for AAA Columbus. 

Brock Holt (.244) went 2-for-5 with a double and a run as leadoff batter for the Rangers and Anthony Rendon (.236) went 2-for-5 with a double, a run and a RBI for the Angels.

Bert Emanuel Jr:
Recently, Sam Khan profiled Cedar Ridge High School incoming senior QB Bert Emanuel Jr, the son of Bert Emanuel ’94, in The Athletic (subscriber content).  Presently, he has offers from TSU and Army.  This month, he plans to attend the SMU Showcase, the HBU Mega Camp and the Tennessee State Mega Camp as well as to visit Notre Dame and Michigan.
