This past summer, she was chosen as 1 of 6 (out of 380 applicants) for a NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at the Maria Mitchell Association’s Research Center on Nantucket Island, MA. Her research project was titled “Probing Circumgalactic Medium Turbulence with Synthetic Absorption”.
