Eric Strom (1963-2024):
On May 28, Eric Strom passed away. Raised in Dallas, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Rice in 1988 and a Master’s degree in Geology from Texas A&M in 1993. He enjoyed “a long fruitful career as a geologist, hydrologist, and director with the US Geological Survey”. In August 2019, IgA Nephropathy forced him into an early medical retirement. He is survived by, among others, his wife Kathy (they were married in 1990). Click here for the Dallas Morning News obituary.
