Richard Steed (1932-2024):
On May 19, Richard Steed passed away. A native Texan, he graduated from Rice in 1954. After two years of active duty in the US Corps of Engineers, he joined his father in the underground utility business at Steed Construction in Fort Worth where he worked until his passing. In 2000, he and his wife Judy built a house in Hamilton, Montana where they spent their summers. He is survived by, among other, Judy (they were married for sixty-six years).
