Last week, it was announced that Matt Canterino would undergo Tommy John surgery this month. On Tuesday, Tyler Duffey was assigned to AAA Round Rock and later that day he earned the win in his inaugural appearance for the Express.

Tristan Gray (.217) singled for AAA Durham and Trei Cruz (.223) went 1-for-3 with a run, a RBI and 2 walks for Hi-A West Michigan.
