John Robert Strawn (1931-2023):
On December 7, Bob Strawn passed away. A native Texan, he attended Rice (class of 1953) and earned a MD from Baylor College of Medicine in 1956. After military service, he enjoyed a career in medicine teaching and later in private practice at Memorial SW Hospital and Medical Clinic of Houston until retirement in 1998. Also, he was very active in community service.
