Trivia Answer:
Texas State volleyball player Kenedi Rutherford is the daughter of Rice football four-year letterman Deric Rutherford ‘95 (1991-92-93-94). Interestingly, her sister Reagan is a member of the NCAA W Volleyball defending national championship Kentucky Wildcat team. (Thanks, Bill Cousins, Joe Graves and Russell Henderson!)
Over the summer, Deric and his wife Latosha (who was a basketball letterwinner at Sam Houston State) opened their first restaurant, Kale Me Crazy, at 18th and Shepherd in the Heights. The restaurant is an Atlanta-based health food chain, “offering juices, smoothies, salads and wraps in a sleek, upscale environment”.
Way to go, Bob Toone, Melinda Clark, Jimmy Disch, Martha Proctor Gano, Ann Bixby, Mike Ross, Kirwin Drouet, George Wagner, Russell Henderson, Bill Cousins, Paul Reese, James Walker, Bob Reinhold, Betty Bixby, Gene Walker, Bill Allison, Joe Graves, Sallie Schwall, Richard Avant, Bev Schorre, Bryant Wilkinson, Clarke Anderson and Ted Richard!
