On Saturday night, Dean Connors rushed for a net 126 yards and 1 score to help lead the University of Houston to a 38-35 win over LSU in the Texas Bowl in Houston.

Last night, the Roost reported that starting QB Chase Jenkins has opted out of the Armed Forces Bowl game and intends to enter the Transfer Portal.  Previously, backup QB Drew Devillier made clear his intention to enter the Transfer Portal. The two remaining scholarship QBs on the roster are Lucas Scheerhorn and freshman Patrick Crayton Jr.
