Linda Smith Kidd (1944-2026):
On August 21, Linda Smith Kidd unexpectedly passed away. Born in Tennessee, she attended Rice (Brown, class of 1966) and earned a BS from Auburn in 1969. She was an early childhood Montessori teacher, a bookkeeper, tax preparer and a census worker. Also, she enjoyed many hobbies and interests including folk dancing, playing the piano and reading. Above all, her “love for her family was boundless”. She is survived by, among others, her four children, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Click here for the obituary.
