Rice students find design needs bedside (Rice News)
Marvin Kunkel (1930-2026):
On August 11, Marvin Kunkel passed away. A native Texan, he graduated from Rice in 1958. After coaching football for nearly a decade and working for ESCO Supply, he started his own pipe company, PFV Supply, which he owned and operated for twenty-four years. Also, he was an active participant in his church. He is survived by, among others, his wife LaVon (they would have been married seventy years this January).
