Thelma Jean Goodrich (1940-2026):
On Augus 13, Thelma Jean Goodrich passed away. A native Houstonian, she earned an undergraduate degree from SMU and a MA (’73) and a PhD (’74) in Behavioral Science from Rice. “She became a groundbreaking feminist family therapist, author, teacher, and mentor whose work helped shape the field of family therapy.” Also, she was deeply devoted to her family. She is survived by, among others, her husband Thomas Cole (they were married in 2007). Click here for the obituary.
