Cynthia Davenport (1948-2026):
On March 11, Cindy Davenport passed away, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Born in Oklahoma, she attended Rice (class of 1971, Brown College) and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1972. In addition to raising her children with her husband John, she was a school teacher and also was active in her churches. She is survived by, among others, John (they were married for fifty-six years). She “will be remembered for her love for the Lord, love for her family and friends, her contagious smile, her joy in life, and her kind and gentle nature”. Click here for the obituary.
