Super Bowl:
Last night, Seattle defeated New England 29-13 in Super Bowl LX in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara CA. Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is the brother of 4-year Rice football letterman Klein Kubiak '14 (2010-11-12-13) and the nephew of Coach Pierce. Ten years ago, Klein and Klint’s father Gary Kubiak – Coach Pierce’s brother-in-law - won Super Bowl 50 in the same stadium as head coach of Denver.
The president of the Patriots is Jonathan Kraft. He is married to Patti Lipoma Kraft ’87 who is a member of the Rice Board of Trustees. Also, they were the lead donors for the Kraft Hall for Social Sciences on campus.
