Brad Bucher 91942-2026):
On January 22, Brad Bucher passed away. Born in New Jersey, he earned a BA in Biology in 1965 from Rice where he met his future wife Leslie ’69. “A serial entrepreneur and patent holder, Brad started and sold several companies and continued working until his final days”. Also, he and his wife were prominent philanthropists and key figures in the Houston arts and culture community, known for supporting institutions like the Museum of Fine Arts, the Glassell School of Art and the Moody Center. He is survived by, among others, Leslie (they were married for almost sixty years). Click here for the obituary.
