Watch here a New York Times review of ChopNBlok. Ope Amosu’s restaurant started as a pop-up before becoming a vendor at Post Houston food hall in 2021 and now has a standalone brick-and-mortar location at 507 Westheimer in Montrose since October last year.
Eric Engineer '01/'02:
Earlier this month, S3 Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Austin, announced its eighth fund sized at $250 million. With the new fund, Eric Engineer was promoted to General Partner. He graduated from Rice with a BA in Computer Science and Managerial Studies in 2001 and a Master of Computer Science in 2002. Read more.
