John "Bob" Hudspeth (1938-2025):
On December 6, Bob Hudspeth passed away. A native Texan, he earned a BA from Rice in 1969 and a graduate degree from UT. After military service, he worked for Citibank in Asia and for Bank of America in Dallas. “A lifelong learner with a quick wit, Bob found joy in languages, opera, Dallas sports teams, and the rich traditions of Asia.” He is survived by, among others, his wife Frieda (they were married for more than fifty-eight years).
