Last night, the Roost reported that starting QB Chase Jenkins has opted out of the Armed Forces Bowl game and intends to enter the Transfer Portal. Previously, backup QB Drew Devillier made clear his intention to enter the Transfer Portal. The two remaining scholarship QBs on the roster are Lucas Scheerhorn and freshman Patrick Crayton Jr.

Bert Emanuel '94:
Before he was hurt with 6:07 remaining in the second quarter, QB Bert Emanuel Jr, the son of Bert Emanuel, rushed for 170 yards and 2 scores for San Diego State in the New Mexico Bowl last night. The Aztecs lost to North Texas, 49-47. Read more.
