Stephen Wilson (1941-2025):
On December 8, Stephen Wilson passed away. He earned a BA (’69), a MA (’72) and a PhD (’72) in Organic Chemistry from Rice. He was “one of the world’s leading fullerene and nanotube chemists and a successful entrepreneur and innovator” as well as a professor at NYU for over twenty years. “His life was shaped by curiosity, determination, and a deep love for those around him.” He is survived by, among others, his wife of nearly fifty-eight years, Susan.
