Rice hosts forum to advance commercial orbit cooperation (Rice News)
Edwin Schorr (1949-2025):
On December 9, Ed Schorr passed away. In 1971, he earned a BA in Classics from Rice, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa and in 1978 a MA in Classics from the University of Cincinnati. He was a follower of the controversial author Dr Immanuel Velikovsky. He performed clerical work for four years at Friendly Furniture, was a lab technician for three years at Baylor College of Medicine and was a paralegal for over twenty-five years in the City Attorney’s Office in Houston. “He strove to do the best that he could, trying to help others and to make things better than he found them, to lighten the loads and brighten the days of others.” Click here for the obituary which he wrote himself.
