Daniel Weinberg (1996-2025):
On October 15, Daniel Weinberg died peacefully from natural causes.  A native Texan, he earned a BS in Chemical Physics and Mathematics at Rice in 2019 and a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from UC Berkeley in 2023.  He worked for two years as a computational chemist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Labs and was a Postdoc Unit Chair for Local 4811 of the UAW.  “He was deeply involved in politics and fought for social justice.”  Click here for the obituary.
