Richard Wright (1940-2025):
On May 19, Richard “Dick” Wright passed away after a short illness. Born in Louisiana, he earned a BA in Economics from Rice in 1962, and after military service, he earned a MBA from Stanford in 1968. “He spent his business career in sundry financial roles”. Also, he was active in alumni affairs and in his church.
He is predeceased by, among others, his wife Martha ’64 (they were married in 1965 and she passed away in 2023). A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on November 1 at St Francis Episcopal Church (345 Piney Point Road). Click here for the obituary.
