Rose Greenwood (1936-2025):
On March 21, Rose “Cody” Greenwood passed away. A native Texan, she earned a BA in English in 1958 from Rice where she met her future husband Jim ‘58. In addition to raising five children, she was active in the community and at her church. Later, she co-founded Greenwood King Properties. And, “Grandma Cody loved her grandkids and great grandchild beyond words, thinking of them as she sent a collective ‘thought for the day’ text every single day for years and years”. She is survived by, among others, Jim (they were married two days after they graduated from Rice on June 1, 1958). Click here for the obituary.
