Betty Bernshausen (1935-2025):
On March 30, Betty Bernshausen passed away. A native Texan, she earned a BA in English from Rice in 1957 where she was active in the Elizabeth Baldwin Literary Society. With her late husband Weldon, she raised two children. Also, she was an avid gardener and involved in the community and her church. When he passed away, they had been married for forty-four years.
