Leon Heinze Jr (1923 - 2025):
On January 5, Leon Heinze Jr passed away at the age of 101. A third-generation Houstonian, he graduated from Rice with a BS in Chemical Engineering (class of 1944) and served in the US Navy in WWII. He “enjoyed many pastimes, including spending time in nature, golfing and fishing, weekly phone calls with friends and family, reading, and keeping up with his grandchildren”.
