Barton Parks (1938-2024):
On October 12, Barton Parks passed away. A native Texan, he earned a BA in Philosophy from Rice in 1960 and a MA and PhD from SUNY @ Buffalo. After teaching at various universities, he enjoyed a thirty-year career on the faculty of Guilford College in Greensboro NC. Also, he was active in the community. He is survived by, among others, his wife of nearly sixty-one years, Evelyn. Click here for the News & Record obituary.
