Ron Sass (1932-2024):
As previously reported, Ron Sass, whose Rice career spanned a “remarkable” sixty-six years as a faculty member, researcher and pioneer in greenhouse gas emissions, passed away on January 9. Yesterday, the Chronicle published his obituary. There will be a celebration of his life on Thursday, November 14 at 5:30 pm at the Cohen House.
