Robert Larkins (1933-2024):
On June 24, Bob Larkins passed away. A native Texan, he earned a BA (’55) and a BS (’56) from Rice and a MS (’57) and PhD (’59) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He enjoyed a thirty-seven year career at Exxon, retiring in 1995 as President of Exxon Coal and Minerals Company. Also, he was active in the community and at his church. He is predeceased by, among others, first wife Sidney ‘58 (they were married for sixteen years) and his second wife Bobbie Ann (they were married for forty-one years).
