Steven Golvach (1952-2024):
On June 25, Steven Golvach passed away “peacefully after an illness”. He graduated from Rice in 1975 where he was the Student Association president and received the Hugh Scott Cameron Award for distinguished service to the student body. After earning his JD from UH Law Center, he enjoyed a legal career in Houston for many years. And “he was well known for his dry wit and his love for his children, Sophia Golvach (Samuel Blazek) and John Paul Golvach, who both survive him”. Click here for the obituary.
