Margaret Mays (1923-2024):
On April 30, Maggie Mays passed away. A native Houstonian, she graduated from Rice in 1944. After working at a chemical lab in Baytown during the war and as a flight attendant for ten years, she met and married her late husband, Charlie Mays. They raised 3 children together and lived in numerous cities around the world before returning to Houston in 1975. Also, she was active in the community. Click here for the Chronicle obituary.
