High School Volleyball Playoffs:
Yesterday, nationally ranked Grand Oaks continued its playoff run with a Regional Final win against Tomball Memorial. Grand Oaks is now state bound for the first time ever and will play Prosper in the State 6A Semifinals at 5 pm on Friday in Garland. Sophomore Halle Thompson, the daughter of two-year Rice Volleyball letterwinner Libra Taylor Thompson ‘00 (1997-98), plays for the Grizzlies.
