Roy Lowey-Ball (1944-2022):
On September 9, Roy Lowey-Ball passed away. Born in The Netherlands, he earned a BA in 1967 and a Bachelor of Architecture in 1968 from Rice and then served two years in the Peace Corps in Tunisia. He was a remarkable linguist (speaking five languages), an accomplished architect with Ford, Powell & Carson Architects and a talented artist. Also, he was an excellent writer. He is survived by, among others, by his wife of nearly 40 years, Pamela. Click here for the San Antonio Express-News obituary.
