Marilee May Wood (1938-2022):
On January 25, Marilee May Wood passed away. A native Houstonian, she earned a BA in English (magna cum laude) from Rice in 1960 and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Also, she earned a MA in English from Rice in 1964. She enjoyed a career in both the public and private sector until 1999. After retiring, she spent most of her time in Wimberley where she served three terms on City Council and she was active in the community. She is survived by, among others, her husband S Tevis.
