NCBWA Preason Poll:
In its preseason Top 35 poll released yesterday, top ranked by the NCBWA were Texas (#1), Vanderbilt (#2), Mississippi State (#3), Arkansas (#4) and Stanford (#5). This season, Rice is scheduled to play 12 games against Texas (#1), Texas Tech (#14), Southern Miss (#31) and LA Tech (#32).
